The color coding represents musical periods: gold=Baroque (royalty, nobility, high church); blue=Classical (more refined & restrained), red=Romantic (passionate, emotional), and green=20th Century (color of growth, a combination of earlier colors). Composers are arranged in alphabetical order on the sheet with full names and life dates for easy reference:

Some ideas for using these stickers:
- Give as student gifts
- Recognize student achievements
- Give a sticker when the repertoire by each composer is completed. (Set a goal to learn at least one piece by each one!)
- Create a chart of composers for each period
- Illustrate student reports on individual composers
