- In NoteWordy level 1, students learn the staff notes for Middle C Position and piano key names. Level 1 includes two decks of cards (one deck of cards with notes on the staff and one deck of cards with piano keys).
- Students learn the entire grand staff notes in NoteWordy level 2.
- In NoteWordy level 3, students learn the entire grand staff plus two ledger lines above and below the treble and bass staves.
Players collect cards to spell the word on their game boards. Students identify multiple note names on both the bass and treble staves to complete each turn, giving students additional practice on every play. Since speed is never a strategy for winning the game, slower students can compete equally with faster students.
Add variety to the game by playing the included CrossWordy (™) game. In this additional note identification game, everyone plays together on one game board to earn the most points by completing words.
BONUS: Includes NoteWordy Phases!
NoteWordy™ Phases is a fun, easy-to-play card game reinforces staff notes or keyboard keys. Simple rules keep the game moving while repeated note identification builds confidence, accuracy, and fluency. Combine these professionally printed game boards with any level of NoteWordy™ or Spelling Bee cards**, to easily adjust difficulty and add a new, engaging way to review note reading. Game boards are specialty coated for durability and use with dry-erase markers.
Teachers will appreciate how quick and easy the game is to learn. Use valuable lesson time playing this note identification game instead of learning instructions.
Your students will become more proficient at note-reading after playing this note-reading game just once!
Thank you so much for these teaching tools. They have made learning fun and I appreciate you both so much. – Linda Sharp
